Results From The Canadian Cities Online Marketing Index© 2010

As a part of my colleague’s, (Isabelle Poirier) presentation at this year’s Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC) conference, the results from the 2010 edition of Canadian Cities Online Marketing Index© were unveiled.  The index measured how well Canadian cities are marketing their territory for investment attraction using web 2.0 tools and supplying current information to site selectors and investors.

This year’s benchmark saw the emergence of cities that were not using social media tools last year and cities which remain dedicated to using tools such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube to promote in innovative ways.
